What is the ruling on combining attendance at private lessons with Friday prayer in a country where Friday is not an official holiday?

Attending private lessons is not a valid Islamic excuse for missing the Friday prayer. One must seek a time for those lessons that does not coincide with the Friday prayer, as being occupied with studies is not an excuse for missing Jumu'ah.
