How can one forget and recover from a past love, especially after a failed attempt to marry the beloved's sister? And is marrying another woman of high religiosity and good character a solution to this?

Among the most dangerous things widespread among young people is "love" between boys and girls, because it is a great door to evil, temptation, and corruption. For this reason, Islam has forbidden secret lovers. A married woman must be avoided, especially since this could lead to corrupting her against her husband and instigating discord, which is forbidden by Islamic law. As for infatuation, its cure is easy. If you have formed an emotional relationship with the sister of the girl you eloped with, you must repent. If you wish to marry her, her sister has no right to prevent you. We advise you to marry the third girl whose religiosity, lineage, and good manners have been praised, for she is better for you, as stated in the Hadith: "Choose the religious woman, may your hands be soiled [with dust]." The most important advice is to fear Allah and avoid following the whims of the self and the footsteps of Satan, for that leads to Allah's wrath.
