Your sister's daughter, whom you breastfed, becomes a sister to all your children, and it is unlawful for any of them to marry her. Similarly, your son whom your sister breastfed becomes a brother to all her children if he was breastfed five times, for breastfeeding prohibits what birth prohibits. As for the rest of your sons and daughters whom your sister did not breastfeed, and her sons and daughters whom you did not breastfeed, marriage between them is not prohibited, unless there is another impediment. The breastfeeding that establishes prohibition is that which occurs within the first two years of life and consists of five known breastfeedings.
