What is the ruling on earning profit from advertisements displayed on a website?

If the advertisement on the site is permissible, then the rent received for it and the profit from it are lawful. However, if it is prohibited, then the rent for it is unlawful and is considered cooperation in sin and aggression. If some of the advertisements are permissible and some are prohibited, then the rent for the permissible ones is lawful, and the rent for the prohibited ones is unlawful.
