What is the Muslim's etiquette with Allah, and what are the books that discuss the ethics of a Muslim?

The foundations of good conduct with Allah include: thanking Him for His blessings by praising Him and dedicating them to His obedience, and glorifying Him by refraining from sins out of shyness towards Him and knowledge that He is aware of every state. It also includes relying on Him in all matters and fleeing to Him, supplicating to Him with prayer and righteous deeds out of hope for His mercy and fear of His wrath and punishment, and having a good opinion of Him regarding His promise and warning. In addition to this: believing Allah in His news, submitting and complying with His rulings, being content with His decree and destiny, and following the Messenger (peace be upon him).
