What should a husband do with his wife who left the marital home for her family's house and refused to return and obey, especially since her father has exacerbated the situation by expelling, insulting, and reviling him?

If the wife leaves the house without her husband's permission and without a legitimate reason, she is sinful and rebellious (nashiz), and her maintenance (nafaqa) is forfeited until she returns. The prescribed Sharia steps for addressing rebelliousness must be followed. If she returns, then praise be to Allah. Otherwise, wise people should mediate for reconciliation. If reconciliation is not achieved, then what is more appropriate, divorce or patience with her, should be considered. As for the wife's father insulting religion, this is a serious matter that necessitates apostasy, and he must be advised to repent.
