Is thinking about what people will say before doing anything, even acts of worship, considered hypocrisy?

Allah does not accept any deed unless it is pure and done seeking His Face. One must search for ways to attain sincerity and ward off showing off. Furthermore, caring about people's praise and commendation is not condemned unconditionally; rather, it is praised in some instances and condemned in others.
