What is the ruling on saying: "Allah took revenge on so-and-so scholar, for calamities only came about because of his fatwa"?

It is not permissible to say that the Mufti "does not issue a ruling except according to his whim or opinion." Fatwa is an informing of the Shariah ruling, and the Mufti is an expounder of Allah's ruling, based on Shariah evidence. He is not infallible. The questioner should take his religion from those whose knowledge, trustworthiness, and adherence to evidence are reliable. Whoever says such a thing has erred and must repent and seek forgiveness, and appreciate the scholars who are the inheritors of the prophets. Allah Almighty said: "Allah bears witness that there is no god but He, and [so do] the angels and those of knowledge - establishing justice." (Al Imran: 18). And Ibn Asakir said: "The flesh of scholars is poisoned, and Allah's way of tearing down the veils of those who disparage them is well-known."
