Is it permissible to publish a book whose author relied on paid researchers who worked with him without mentioning them, and are these researchers entitled to waive their intellectual rights for money?

Whoever authors a book or an article has two rights: a material right, which encompasses financial rights, and which he is permitted to sell or gift; and a moral right, which is the attribution of the work to him. This latter right may not be relinquished, such that the author is attributed to someone other than the true author, as this involves a deviation from reality and a statement contrary to it, as العلامة بكر أبو زيد (Allamah Bakr Abu Zayd) said. Therefore, it is not permissible for a person to publish a work in which others participated without mentioning them. They have the right to claim ownership of their work, and they are not permitted to relinquish paternity of their work. As for their material right, they may relinquish it with or without compensation.
