Is it permissible to name Allah in French, and what is the ruling regarding its impermissibility?

It is obligatory to respect what contains the names of Allah and the Prophets. The meaning of Ishmael and Israel is "servant of Allah." It is commendable for a Muslim to invoke Allah by His names mentioned in the Qur'an. If the مخاطب (addressee/interlocutor) does not understand, it is permissible to address him in his language. The Arabic language is the best of languages and it is the language of the Qur'an. It is obligatory to learn it to perform the religious duties (furood). It is disliked to speak in a language other than Arabic without need. Accustoming oneself to the Arabic language positively affects the mind, character, and religion, and contributes to emulating the Companions and the Tabi'een. Furthermore, understanding the Qur'an and Sunnah necessitates understanding the Arabic language.
