Is it permissible to eat the slaughtered animal of a Christian who has become an atheist communist or a Buddhist, or of a Jew who has become a Christian?

The jurists have agreed that the animal slaughtered by someone who converted from the People of the Book to another non-Abrahamic religion is not permissible to eat. However, if a person converted from one Abrahamic religion to another, such as a Jew who converted to Christianity or vice versa, the majority of jurists hold that their slaughtered animal is permissible to eat.
