Is a woman permitted to seek divorce from her husband if she does not harbor feelings for him, despite his piety and intense love for her, due to her inability to accept his family and the difference in her intellectual and religious level from theirs, along with her fear of being sinful for not reciprocating feelings of love?

The wife is not sinful for not feeling love towards her husband, as love is beyond her control and is not a condition for the continuation of marital life. She must fulfill her duties towards her husband and ask Allah to make him beloved to her. As for coexisting with the husband's family, there is no objection to it, and she should be kind and endearing, striving to teach and invite them [to goodness]. She is permitted to seek a divorce (khul') from her husband if she dislikes him.
