What is the ruling on naming a girl Maysam, given that it is a part of a flower that receives pollen, and is the prohibition due to a dislike (karahah) or a complete prohibition (tahrim)?

The name "Maisam" in the Arabic language has two meanings: a blameworthy one, which is an iron (for branding/cauterizing), and a praiseworthy one, which is beauty. The Salaf (early Muslims) disliked naming with anything associated with fire, such as "Shihab." There is no harm in naming with "Maisam" according to the second meaning (beauty), even though it is not recommended to use such names that bear the possibility of being disliked.
