Does reciting Surat Al-Kahf on Friday protect one from jinn possession?

There is no evidence that reciting Surat Al-Kahf on Friday protects one from jinn possession. However, what is authentically reported from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, is that it is a light between the two Fridays. Ibn Mardawayh narrated that the house in which Surat Al-Kahf is recited will not be approached by Satan that night, but this is not specified to Friday or to protection from possession specifically.
