The answer

We have not come across the mentioned book, but if its author is Al-Hafiz Muhammad ibn Yusuf Al-Salihi Al-Dimashqi Al-Shafi'i, who passed away in the year 940 AH, then it is hoped that it is a good book. This is due to what is known about its author's proficiency in this subject through his book "Subul al-Huda wa al-Rashad fi Sirat Khayr al-'Ibad" (Paths of Guidance and Rectitude in the Biography of the Best of Servants). Details of the Isra and Mi'raj can be found in books of (Qur'anic exegesis) and , especially the Tafsir of Al-Qurtubi and Ibn Kathir, and in the two collections of Al-Bukhari and Muslim.
