How did Iblis enter Paradise and whisper to Adam (peace be upon him)?

The exegetes differed regarding how Satan whispered to Adam and Eve. Some said that he misguided them verbally, citing the Almighty's words: "And he swore to them both, 'Indeed, I am to you both among the sincere advisors.'" Others said that he appeared to them in a physical form or cast the whisper to them. They also differed on how he whispered to them after being expelled. It was said that he was prevented from entering as a matter of honor, but not prevented as a matter of humiliation, or that he stood by the gate and called out to them, or that he entered the mouth of the serpent.
