After your fatwa on the impermissibility of displaying Google AdSense ads on websites, is it permissible to place an ad on my website for a permissible site that provides information but displays AdSense ads on its own site? And do the same Sharia rules regarding the permissibility of advertising for some commercial stores apply to non-commercial websites that provide useful information to visitors?

There is no harm in advertising a website that provides useful and permissible information, even if the website uses Google AdSense ads. This is because what is permissible as a subsidiary is not permissible independently. Not all AdSense ads are forbidden; many of them are permissible. It is permissible to access websites that are predominantly good, even if they contain some objectionable elements such as immodest images, and to promote them, as long as the advertisement is for permissible and useful content and not for forbidden content. One should recall the two Hadiths of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him: "Indeed, the lawful is clear, and the unlawful is clear..." and "Consult your heart. Righteousness is that with which the soul feels tranquil..."
