Is the husband entitled to disavow the lineage of the newborn merely because he used contraception or ejaculated outside the womb, given suspicions about the wife's conduct, and is he permitted to request paternity testing to establish lineage?

'Azl (coitus interruptus) is permissible if it is with the wife's permission. The Companions practiced 'azl during the time of the Prophet, peace be upon him. The four schools of thought (madhahib) agree that 'azl is not forbidden. Misyar marriage (a simplified marriage where the wife waives some of her rights) is permissible if it fulfills the conditions of a valid marriage. A wife's renunciation of some of her rights does not make it a temporary (mut'ah) marriage. The fact that the Prophet or his Companions did not practice it does not mean it is forbidden. The hadith "Marry the loving and fertile one" is for guidance and encouragement, and does not indicate the obligation of procreation.
