What comprehensive books containing the preferred rulings do you recommend as an alternative to studying Sharia?

The preponderant opinion is a relative matter. What one scholar deems preponderant another might consider weaker, and a scholar's own preference may change. The Sharia has not established decisive evidence for every issue; some issues have probabilistic evidence, and the views of mujtahids (qualified jurists) differ on them. Therefore, one can learn from reliable books whose authors are recognized for their knowledge, from the accredited books of Sharia colleges, and also from books approved by the followers of a particular madhhab (school of thought).
