Is it permissible to listen to Adhkar (words of remembrance of Allah) from a mobile phone while in the lavatory?

It is not permissible to bring a device from which the sound of the Qur’an or adhkar (remembrances) emanates into the bathroom. However, listening to the Qur’an or supplications and adhkar inside the bathroom is permissible, if the device is outside the bathroom.
