Is it permissible to remove intestines and other things from the bellies of the deceased to facilitate their transport to their countries, knowing that they will be ritually washed and shrouded?

It is not permissible to remove the intestines of the deceased for the purpose of transporting the body, due to Allah's saying: ﴿And We have certainly honored the children of Adam﴾, and the Prophet's (peace be upon him) saying: «Breaking the bone of a dead person is like breaking it when he is alive». This is also because it is a desecration of the deceased. Sheikh Ibn Baz, may Allah have mercy on him, was asked about transporting the deceased and he replied that it is not permissible, due to the problems that result from it, such as cutting the intestines, and because there is no need for it, as a person is buried in the place where he died.
