How can I maintain a good fraternal relationship with my brother despite our mother's attempts to spoil it?

A mother, by her nature, loves for her children to be affectionate and loving towards each other, and perhaps she has been misunderstood due to certain actions. The relationship with both the mother and the brother should be strengthened, and strengthening the relationship with the mother is more important because honoring one's mother holds great significance in Islam. This does not mean cutting ties with the brother or treating him badly. The relationship can be strengthened through good character, kind words, and offering services.
