Is a woman permitted to refrain from prayer and fasting upon seeing "the white discharge" if menstruation does not begin until days after seeing it, and similarly upon purification if blood appears after the white discharge?

White discharge is not menstruation, and seeing it does not make a woman menstruating. Therefore, it is not permissible to abandon prayer and fasting because of it. One must continue praying and fasting until the known menstrual blood appears. When the blood stops, whether by dryness or white discharge, one must perform ghusl (ritual bathing) and resume prayer and fasting. If the blood returns during a period when it could be menstruation, the woman is considered menstruating again. Fasting during the period of purity between menstruations is valid and does not require making up.
