Must a woman make up the day she fasted after seeing the white discharge, then noticing some yellowish or reddish discharge on that very day?

The ruling on fasting and intercourse during menstruation varies depending on what the woman means by "a little bit of the white discharge comes out":

1. If she sees the white discharge: This is a sign of purity (tuhur), and any yellowish or reddish discharge that appears after it is not considered menstruation, based on the statement of Umm Atiyyah: "We did not consider the turbid discharge and the yellowish discharge after purity to be anything." In this case, the fast is valid and there is no harm in intercourse.

2. If she sees remnants of yellowish or reddish discharge: This indicates that the menstruation has not ended, and the woman should not rush to conclude that she is pure. 'Aishah used to tell women: "Do not rush until you see the white discharge." Based on this, she must make up the fast for that day. As for intercourse, there is no harm in it, because it was based on the belief that menstruation had ended, and not on an intentional act of what is forbidden.
