What is the importance of the family in society and Islam?

Society is composed of a collection of families, and each family is considered a fundamental building block within it. Therefore, the righteousness or corruption of society, and its strength or weakness, is linked to the righteousness or corruption of families, and their strength or weakness. For this reason, Islam has given immense importance to the family.
