What is the ruling on working in advertising and publicity for billboards that display pictures of naked women or pictures of Christian priests with verses from the Gospel on them, especially given the scarcity of other job opportunities and my low salary?

Patience with straitened circumstances is easier than patience with the reckoning on the Day of Judgment. Accepting a lower-paying job is better than a higher-paying one that is devoid of blessing. Therefore, fear Allah, be patient, seek His help, and supplicate frequently that He suffices you with what is lawful over what is unlawful. Allah does not abandon His people, and whoever gives up something for the sake of Allah, He replaces it with something better. Allah Almighty says: "And whoever fears Allah - He will make for him a way out And will provide for him from where he does not expect. And whoever relies upon Allah - then He is sufficient for him. Indeed, Allah will accomplish His purpose. Allah has already set for everything a [decreed] extent... And whoever fears Allah - He will make for him ease in his affair." The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Indeed, you will not give up anything for the sake of Allah Almighty except that Allah will give you something better than it," and "Whoever seeks abstinence, Allah will make him abstinent, and whoever seeks patience, Allah will make him patient."
