What is the ruling concerning scholars who excommunicate the Ahmadiyya Community for believing in the prophethood of its founder, which is subservient to Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, while they themselves believe in the coming of a رسول (messenger) prophet after Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, namely Isa ibn Maryam, as stated in the hadiths: "The Prophet of Allah, Isa, and his companions will descend" and "When Allah revealed to His Prophet Isa"?

The Islamic scholars and Islamic bodies in Arab countries and India have unanimously declared the Qadiyanis to be disbelievers (kafirs) because they have denied what is in the Quran, distorted its meanings, rejected the finality of prophethood, and claimed that their leader is a prophet receiving revelation. The descent of Jesus (peace be upon him) at the end of time does not contradict the finality of prophethood with Muhammad (peace be upon him), because the Messiah (peace be upon him) will rule according to the law of Muhammad (peace be upon him), not his own law. This is a truth supported by the Qur'an and the continuously transmitted Sunnah.
