If there is an understanding between you and your husband that you visit your family every Thursday, that is a good thing. There is no harm in agreeing with him to allow you to visit them when you yearn for them, especially when he is away from home for work. If he permits it, that is good; otherwise, obedience to him is obligatory, as it is not permissible for a wife to leave her husband's house except with his permission.
