Does someone who watches pornography while maintaining their prayers and memorizing the Qur’an die in a state of sin that necessitates hellfire, or is he forgiven, and are his prayers and memorization of the Qur’an accepted?

We advise you to persevere in the struggle against your soul to stop looking at what is forbidden, and to renew your repentance whenever you fall into sin, trusting that Allah will accept it if you are sincere in your repentance and resolute in not returning to it. Repentance is accepted even if it is repeated hundreds of times. This forbidden act does not invalidate your prayer or your recitation, and we hope that your good deeds will outweigh your bad deeds, especially with frequent repentance and seeking forgiveness.
