What is the ruling on a Muslim repeatedly committing a sin (watching pornography) and then repenting, feeling deep remorse, holding himself accountable, and supplicating, and what is his fate and state if he dies while committing this sin?

It is not permissible for a Muslim to watch pornographic films, because they are a type of forbidden fornication from which Allah has commanded to lower the gaze. Whoever watches these films must fear Allah and stop watching television, removing it from their home if they cannot control themselves, for warding off harm takes precedence over gaining benefits. As for their fate in the Hereafter if they die upon this sin, it is according to Allah's will. However, whoever repents, Allah will accept their repentance and forgive them.
