Is obedience to parents obligatory in traveling without a mahram if there is a difference of opinion in the sharia ruling regarding it, and my parents adopt the view of those who permit it?

Obeying parents is not permissible in matters believed to be forbidden, such as a woman traveling without a mahram, even if they believe it to be permissible. However, if the matter is dubious due to differing scholarly opinions, then obeying them is permissible. Many scholars have made it obligatory to obey parents in performing something disliked (makruh).
