Should we pray as if we are standing before Allah, the Most Blessed and Exalted?

Many hadiths have been narrated confirming that the worshipper faces his Lord, the Most High, and that Allah turns His Face towards him as long as the servant does not turn his face away. These hadiths interpret the verse, "So wherever you [might] turn, there is the Face of Allah," and clarify that Allah is above His Throne, encompassing the world. Thus, the worshipper faces Allah wherever he turns. Reflecting upon this meaning instills humility and submission in the worshipper before Allah.
