Many hadiths have been narrated confirming that the worshipper faces his Lord, the Most High, and that Allah turns His Face towards him as long as the servant does not turn his face away. These hadiths interpret the verse, "So wherever you [might] turn, there is the Face of Allah," and clarify that Allah is above His Throne, encompassing the world.
