Would my reaction (cursing and swearing) toward a man who sexually harassed me in the Haram affect the validity of my Hajj?
Slander (sabb) is to revile and speak in a way that demeans a person. Slandering a Muslim unjustly is forbidden, unless he commits an act that warrants slander. In such a case, it is permissible to slander him with words that deter him, such as "O you, lacking in modesty," but it is not permissible to curse him. If the slander is due to jealousy or ignorance, it does not invalidate the Hajj nor diminish its reward. Otherwise, it is a sin that necessitates repentance and seeking forgiveness.
