How can we reconcile the fact that Satan did not touch Mary and her son with Mary's mother seeking refuge in Allah from Satan after Mary's birth, and also between the prophetic narration that mentions Satan touching the newborn at birth and what has been scientifically said about the cause of a newborn's crying?

The newborn cries at birth because Satan pricks him. This has been confirmed in many prophetic traditions. This prick is the beginning of Satan's dominion over man. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) exempted Mary and her son Jesus (peace be upon them) from this, by the blessing of Mary's mother's prayer, as she sought refuge for her and her offspring from the accursed Satan. So, a veil was cast before her, and Satan pricked the veil instead of her. This does not contradict the existence of natural reasons for a newborn's crying, as crying can have more than one cause.
