What is the way for a woman to divorce her husband, who is suffering from schizophrenia and refusing treatment, and how can she protect her son from his father’s illness without financial compensation?

If the wife is harmed by her husband or fears his harm, she has the right to request a divorce. If he does not divorce her, her case is to be brought before the Sharia (definition) court to rule on it. As for the custody of a young child after separation, it belongs to the mother unless there is a valid Sharia impediment. In the event of a dispute over custody, the Sharia court shall rule on the matter.
