How can a woman who has committed adultery make sincere repentance, and is marriage to the man with whom she committed adultery necessary to atone for the sin, and is it permissible for her to marry someone else while concealing her past, and can she return pure and chaste?

We advise you to seek refuge in Allah, sincerely repent and turn to Him, and increase in good deeds and acts of kindness, while realizing the gravity of adultery and its punishment in this world and the the Hereafter, and the great reward of those who are chaste. In addition, frequently ask Allah for chastity, remember Allah, avoid mixing with men, marry someone who helps you remain chaste, be mindful of Allah, observe prayers, read religious books, keep company with righteous sisters, and listen to religious tapes.
