What is the ruling for someone who spent the night in Makkah al-Mukarramah after the Farewell Circumambulation and departed in the morning?

The prescribed time for the farewell circumambulation ( al-Wada') for the pilgrim is upon his departure from Mecca, based on the of Ibn Abbas: "The people were commanded that their last act should be to circumambulate the House, but an exception was made for menstruating women." There is no blame upon someone who performed the circumambulation with the intention of departing at night but was unable to leave until morning. However, if he repeats the circumambulation upon his departure, it would be more cautious.
