The question

Is the ghusl (ritual bath) that took so long that the time for Fajr prayer elapsed valid or invalid, and does repeating wudu (ablution) three times invalidate it if the time elapses due to fear of missing the prayer time, or is the sin limited only to the passing of the prayer time?

The answer

Excessiveness in (ritual bath) and wudu (ablution) and exceeding the obligatory acts when fearing the expiration of the prayer time is forbidden. One must restrict oneself to the fard (obligatory acts) due to time constraints or scarcity of water. Whoever deliberately adds to the fard while fearing the expiration of the prayer time might fall under the warning associated with those who intentionally delay the prayer beyond its prescribed time. Nevertheless, their purification, whether from wudu or ghusl, remains valid. It is incumbent upon one afflicted with whispers (waswas) to disregard them and strive to avoid them.
