What is incumbent upon me if a question containing shirk appears on an exam, and would I be a mushrik if I were forced to read shirk from a book? And does the phrase "something that makes Paradise weep" contain shirk?

First: There is no sin upon one who is compelled to study something that contains shirk (polytheism) and dislikes it. If he is questioned about it in an exam, he should relate it, attributing it to its speaker, in accordance with the Almighty's saying: ﴿And the Jews say, "The hand of Allah is chained." Chained are their hands, and cursed are they for what they said. Rather, His hands are extended; He spends as He wills.﴾ It is preferable to add a critique and refutation of it to the narration, if possible.

Second: The statement that something cries for Paradise is unclear. However, if this is said about a human, it might mean crying out of longing for Paradise, and there is no sin in that. The questioner is advised to clarify the meaning and context to facilitate passing judgment on it.
