What is the way to overcome the frequent forgetting of daily dhikr (remembrances of God)?

1 min readAlso available in العربية

A Muslim must observe the prescribed adhkar (remembrances of God) and du'a (supplications) at their appointed times. If one forgets them, one must make them up, based on the saying of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him: "When one of you eats, let him mention the name of Allah the Exalted. If he forgets to mention the name of Allah the Exalted at the beginning, let him say: 'Bismillah awwalahu wa akhirahu' (In the name of Allah, at its beginning and at its end)." The Companions used to make up their missed adhkar.
