Is it necessary for me to slaughter the sacrificial animal myself, or is it permissible to delegate that task?

It is permissible to appoint an agent to slaughter the sacrificial animal (hady), but the owner of the hady must be specified at the time of slaughter. This means the agent must intend that the animal is being sacrificed on behalf of so-and-so. Therefore, it is not permissible to appoint offices or banks that do not specify the names of those for whom the sacrifice is made, except in cases of extreme necessity. If the company writes the name of the animal's owner on a piece of paper and attaches it to the animal, and the slaughterer intends that the animal is for the owner mentioned on this paper, then this is considered a valid designation. In the event of a flaw in the designation or a shortage in number, the one who neglected the designation bears the responsibility.
