How can the care of an elderly mother with Alzheimer's be divided among three siblings (two daughters and one son), taking into consideration each one's circumstances and family responsibilities, and what is the optimal solution to ensure the mother's care without overburdening any one of the children alone?

The mother's right is great, and honoring her is one of the most incumbent duties, especially if she is old, weak, and sick. She must be served and cared for, and this service and care are obligatory upon all children. They should either serve her themselves by taking turns, or provide someone to serve her. A trustworthy woman can be hired to serve her from the mother's money if she is well-off, otherwise, from the children's money. The children must care for her and communicate with her as much as possible. Whoever can visit her should do so, and whoever cannot due to distance, telephone communication suffices. Honoring one's parents is one of the greatest causes of Allah's pleasure and success, and it is a door to Jihad.
