Is teaching children among the husband's duties and included in their upbringing?

Raising children with good morals and teaching them matters of their religion and worldly life is one of the greatest duties of parents. It is also a means of protection from the Fire, as mentioned in the verse of Tahrim (prohibition). If the husband falls short in this aspect, it does not permit disrespecting him, for the husband's right is great. The wife should try to persuade him with what is best.
