It is forbidden to display hand-drawn or sculpted images of living beings. This ruling also applies to photographs, which are considered to fall under the same category as the aforementioned images. Therefore, it is not permissible to post pictures of children or other living beings on social media applications or forums. The prohibition becomes stricter if the picture is of a female, or of a handsome man, intended to cause temptation, and this is not permissible even according to those who permit photographs, due to the clear corruption it entails.
