Is it permissible to create an electronic rosary with the intention of ongoing charity (sadaqa jariya) on behalf of the deceased, where one presses its link to recite tasbeeh on their behalf?

Scholars have differed on two opinions regarding whether the reward for dhikr, tasbeeh, and قرآن recitation reaches the deceased: The Hanafis and Hanbalis believe it does, while the Shafi'is believe it does not.

Accordingly, creating an electronic tasbeeh counter and dedicating its reward to the deceased: 1. According to those who believe the reward reaches: There is no harm in it, and it is an invitation to do good. 2. According to those who believe the reward does not reach: It is not permissible to ask for tasbeeh due to lack of benefit.

It is more appropriate to encourage people to supplicate for the deceased, as supplication reaches them by scholarly consensus.
