The husband is not obligated to host his wife's parents or rent a house for them, and the wife has no right to compel him to do so. The care of needy parents is an obligation upon all their children. It is recommended that the husband allow his wife's parents to reside in his home if it causes him no harm, due to the reward, benevolence, and cooperation in righteousness that entails.
