Is it permissible to open a shop for selling ceramics and bring the goods with my own money, then sell them to the customer at a higher price than that of the original merchant who supplies me with the goods, knowing that the merchant is aware of this, and without me actually owning the goods, but rather bringing them from the merchant's warehouse after the customer pays their value, with the financial transaction between me and the merchant being periodic payment of invoices?

It is not permissible to sell what one does not own. To validate the sale, you can make the transactions with customers non-binding promises, so you buy the goods first then sell them to them, or you can act as an agent for the merchant for a known fee.
