Is it permissible to eat at a restaurant owned by a Muslim in a non-Islamic country, knowing that the questioner is not compelled to eat outside his home?

If the restaurant sells both permissible and impermissible items, there is no harm in buying and eating the permissible ones, while being careful not to sit with those who commit evil, due to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) saying: "Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day should not sit at a table where alcohol is served." It is better for a Muslim to avoid such places. However, if the restaurant does not sell impermissible items, then eating and buying from it is permissible.
