What should a mother do after she initially forbade, then agreed to, the marriage of her second daughter to the irresponsible brother of her first daughter’s husband?

The mother must seek forgiveness from Allah for prohibiting what Allah has made lawful. She should also offer an expiation for an oath (kaffarat yamin) as a precautionary measure and to resolve any differing opinions.
