Is the religiously mandated hijab essential when choosing a future wife, and is it wrong to stipulate a religious, university-educated wife, and what is the method and conditions for choosing a righteous wife?
The is an obligation for Muslim women, safeguarding their modesty and chastity. Scholars have differed on the extent of the hijab, specifically whether it includes the face and hands. The adopted by us is the obligation to cover the entire body, including the face and hands. However, the other opinion has considerable merit, and a woman who wears the legal hijab without the niqab, due to her preference for this opinion, is not considered disobedient. As for the woman who displays her adornments and insists on not adhering to the hijab, she is disobedient. It is preferable for a Muslim man to avoid such a woman and strive to marry a religious woman. Marriage to a disobedient woman is permissible if there is no other impediment. A committed young man should choose a religious woman who adheres to the legal hijab.
